The roots reggae classic Congo Ashanti by the Congos was released in 1994 and recorded at Harry J. Kingston's studio. The reggae vocal trio included Ashanti Roy, Cedric "Congo" Myton, and Watty Burnett. Contrasting to the previous productions of Lee "Scratch" Perry, this album contains songs with less emphasis on Dub sounds which allowed the famous falsetto of Cedric Myton truly shine.
